On Episode 039 of the RETROZEST podcast, Curtis celebrates the life of legendary drummer and lyricist NEIL PEART (of the Canadian progressive rock band RUSH) who passed away on 1/7/2020 (1 year ago this week) at 67 years of age. Curtis is joined by guest co-host VICKI HUDSON (lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Atlanta-based RUSH tribute band THE SPIRIT OF RUSH), and they discuss and celebrate Neil’s life and music.

Vicki also discusses The Winter Garden, which is her new book of poems and essays which is dedicated to the memory of Neil Peart.

Additionally, SHANNON FLEMING of the Ridiculous Rock Record Reviews Podcast chimes in to share her thoughts about Neil.
